A founding board member of the Me-One Foundation, Kat spent over a quarter century on the radio airwaves as a morning show host and news anchor. She is currently the Public Relations Director for PRIDE Industries. Kat holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master’s degree in broadcast communication arts & news journalism from California State University, San Francisco. She has long used her communication, journalism, and people skills to support many nonprofits as a board member, volunteer, and event master of ceremonies.
